IK is a European private equity firm with Nordic roots, managing €5.7 billion in four active funds.

Since 1989, IK has acquired 71 companies. Our current portfolio includes 20 companies across Europe with a total turnover of approximately €7.5 billion.

Our philosophy is to work closely with portfolio company management to enhance performance in the acquired businesses. In fact, the operating profit of the portfolio companies we have exited has more than doubled during our ownership.

In maximising returns for our investors, we invest in mid-sized companies with strong cash flow and profit improvement potential, operating in mature industries with fundamental underlying growth. The majority of our investments to date have been made in the manufacturing and service industries.
