Detlef Dinsel German, based in Hamburg
Managing Partner, Head of the Investment Committee and member of the Executive Committee, jointly responsible for Region East (Sweden, Finland and Germany/CEE). Special focus on investments in Germany/CEE. Before joining the firm in 1996, Mr Dinsel worked as a manager for Bain & Company in Munich, and served as both Vice President, Corporate Development and as Managing Director of the Schmidlin division of Hilti AG, Liechtenstein. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
Anders Petersson Swedish, based in Hamburg
Deputy Director. Before joining the firm in 2002, Mr Petersson worked in the Investment Banking Division of JP Morgan in London. He holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Uppsala.
Nils Lüssem German, based in Hamburg
Associate Director. Mr. Lüssem joined IK in 2007. Before joining the firm Mr Lüssem worked in the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and London. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Business Administration from the European Business School (ebs) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
Nils Pohlmann German, based in Hamburg
Associate. Mr Pohlmann joined IK in 2006. Before joining the firm Mr Pohlmann worked in the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan Cazenove in Frankfurt. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Passau and is also an Alumni of the London School of Economics (LSE).
Sylwester Urbanek Polish, based in Hamburg
Associate Director. Before joining IK in 2008, Mr Urbanek worked for Investment Banking Division of Rothschild, covering CEE region out of Warsaw and London, and prior to that in PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Banking from Warsaw School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
Pawel Caruk Polish, based in Hamburg
Associate. Before joining IK in 2010, Mr Caruk worked for The Boston Consulting Group in Warsaw and prior to that for Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. He holds two Master Degrees from Warsaw School of Economics: Quantitative Methods and IT Systems as well as Management. In addition he is a Member of ACCA.
